Oh man, you had me there at the last sentence.

It sucks that Anne is all alone and everyone else is moving on with their lives. But I'm so glad she gets to meet Elizabeth again! I'm curious what Anne plans to do now that the queen is dead...

This one made me cry. I love complicated characters and Anne is certainly one. You have given her a calculating mind but a mother's heart, such an interesting combination.

Thank you!! I don't want her to be too one-dimensional, so many books make her either a saint or a total villain and I want her somewhere in between - dedicated and calculating but not necessarily "bad".
