"Be careful, Princess!" Mr Tumnus shouted from his front door. Y/n smiled softly at the faun and turned away with a basket in her hands full of food that Mr Tumnus begged her to take on her journey. Y/n heard the old wooden door close, and she finally had a moment to think to herself.
"It's finally happening," she said to herself
"The daughters of Eve and sons of Adam have finally found their way to Narnia - well, just one daughter, but thats better than no one at all!" Y/n reassured herself all the way through the forest, thinking of all the wonderful possibilities that could be. She couldn't help herself but smile all the way back - until she got to the lamp. The warm yet disalarming lamp.
"Should I?" Y/n asked herself
"Is it even possible? Surely not right - I mean, lamps don't hold memories" just as she was about to walk away her face lit up with excitement.
"But trees do!" She placed her basket of food next to the lamp and sat down on a spot nearby. Y/n was nervous, but she knew this had to work. She took a deep breath and looked up at the tallest tree, and began.
"My dear nature, my beautiful trees. The memories you withhold are of importance to me -" the trees swayed from side to side, it was working.
"Show me the daughter of Eve, I swear on Aslan. The Great Protector. That we will show you appreciation and gratitude." Y/n held my hands out to form a bowl shape within a few seconds of nervous waiting. The leaves started to swirl around her in circles and formed a human structure.107Please respect copyright.PENANA15AJKguHzt
The structure was a little girl with short hair, and she was hiding behind the lamp, probably from Mr Tumnus. She brung her hands closer to her face and gently blew the leaves away. The leaves blew back to the trees and lay on the branches, ready to nest once more. She stood up in a hurry, grabbed the basket, and before running off bowed to the trees.
"Your kindness is in my debt." The trees shook as if to say you're welcome, and as quick as she could, she ran through the miles of snow to go tell Aslan the great news.
As soon as she got to the ice covered field, where rows of icy tents were laid out across the plains, all full of warriors were ready to fight against this eternal winter but no one had any hope without the true heirs - until now. Y/n got to Aslans tent at the end of the tents, and of course, Aslan knew she arrived as he walked out of the tent and gave her a nod. But that one nod meant a thousand words in her eyes. It was as if to say:
"Well done, princess. You've done well. " Of course, he wasn't actually saying that, but she'd like to think that's what he meant. She followed him into the tent.
"Oh, Aslan, you know it's true. The true heirs have found their way back to Narnia!"
"One true heir Princess that it merely a victory against the White Witch." Maybe she was wrong about that nod.
"Yes, I know Aslan, but don't you see this is a start. A new beginning! Surely, if we find her, then we find the others, correct?" Aslan was silent for a moment.
"How do you even know she was here?" Now he's questioning her truthfulness.
"I spoke to the trees, Protector. The trees showed me the girl. " he looked shocked
"Then I guess you're right. Trees do hold memories indeed. You've done well, my child, " he bowed in front of her.
"You know what to do next? I presume?"
"Oh yes, of course, Protector." Y/n bowed and turned around to leave once more. If she was going to stand any chance of beating this war, she had to be prepared too, and as a starting point, her team must be prepared.
"This is gonna be one hell of a fight." Y/n said to herself.
She wasn't wrong.107Please respect copyright.PENANAPqQipg1jYq
