Eloise had a mixed upbringing, with her mother coming from the House of Black and her father coming from an ordinary muggle family. Eloise knows all the secrets of the Black family, good and bad. She is well-versed in the family magic and is quite a powerful witch. Yet she is also connected with muggle culture, something most of her extended family scoffs at. The Tonks' mix powerful magic and wizarding traditions with muggle technology and media to experience the best of both worlds. 

Eloise is obsessed with muggle music, tv shows, books and movies, often referencing them in conversation. She's bubbly and awkward, yet also witty and sarcastic. She's not a huge fan of sports, both muggle and magical, but will support her friends at the weekend Hogwarts Uni Quidditch matches.

Andromeda Tonks (mother) - Eloise and her mother have a good relationship but are often disagreeing about something. Its only little things so it doesn't have a huge impact on the relationship but they're just too different to properly get along all the time. Andromeda has this problem with both of her daughters and has just accepted that while she loves her children very much, she'll never see eye to eye with them. 

Ted Tonks (father) - Eloise gets along very well with her father. They have a less complex relationship than what she has with her mother but sometimes Eloise prefers the difficulties of her relationship with her mother because it means they have a deeper connection. Ted doesn't make as much of an effort to get to know his daughters which means the relationship is easier because there are less misunderstandings but it is also shallower.

Nymphadora Tonks (older sister) - Eloise and Dora have a close relationship, even though they have a bit of an age gap between them. Eloise has always looked up to her sister and wished that she had metamorphi powers too. Eloise often worries about Nymphadora being an auror, even though she's very supportive of her sister's career choice.

Draco Malfoy (cousin) [based off draco malfoy and the journal of dreadful things series - Draco and Narcissa became estranged from Lucius around Goblet of Fire and escaped to the Tonks'] - Eloise loves having Draco around, since she never grew up with cousins or a brother. She instantly adopted the annoying cousin role around him but Draco is also secretly excited to have a cousin too so he lets her bother him to hang out with her.

Narcissa Malfoy (aunt) - Narcissa reminds Eloise of her mother quite a lot, and she enjoys seeing the two sisters begin to reconcile. Eloise loves hearing the more pleasant stories from Narcissa and Andromeda's childhood. She's a little bit awkward around her aunt because Narcissa is so used to being the perfect Malfoy wife that she's still a bit uptight, but Eloise loves when Narcissa lets go a little bit and begins to relax.

Sirius Black (second cousin) - Eloise was just young enough when she first met Sirius to call him "Uncle Sirius" and so she still calls him that, even as an adult. Luna Lovegood (best friend) - Met at Hogwarts as they shared a dorm and instantly became attached at the hip. Both girls are dreamy in different ways; Luna is more focused on magical whimsiness, whereas Eloise is delusional about muggle things. 

Astoria Greengrass (friend) - Became friends after graduating/in uni. Astoria found Hogwarts hard as she felt a disconnect with the bigoted values of her friends, but she still wanted to practice the "darker" magic that the other Hogwarts houses looked down upon. Ginny Weasley - Their friendship with Luna introduced them to each other and for a while they had an intense jealousy over each other's closeness with Luna, feeling like it threatened their friendship. They eventually got over it and learnt to be friends and developed feelings for each other soon after.
