"I didn’t think this summer would be anything special. I was wrong."
Sophia wasn’t exactly excited to spend her summer as a camp counselor. She figured it’d be all mosquito bites, homesick kids, and awkward icebreakers. Then there was Lia confident, funny, and way too charming for Sophia’s peace of mind.
It was supposed to be a just-for-the-summer thing. Flirting by the lake, sneaking out after curfew, and pretending none of it really mattered. But the more time Sophia spends with Lia, the harder it gets to remember this isn’t supposed to last forever.
Now she’s wondering if maybe just for the summer isn’t enough.
