Black coffee has always been Birino Franciscaño’s personal favorite. With a strong aroma and sense to wake people up to reality, he’d brewed so much that he made use of his near addiction and raised a coffee shop. A domesticated life as the café’s owner compared to the life of crime and blackmailing in his bloodline.
Yet a coffee shop isn’t completely without its regular.
Figuratively and literally lost in the streets of London, Yuno Yoneda wanders around, practically carrying the absentminded emigrant title with pride he doesn’t even need. Contrarily, the first thing on his to-do list in the country is take home a steaming, freshly-brewed cup of coffee. And where more should he walk to when there is a perfectly safe location not that far off from his overly expensive rental.
Birino is used to all kinds of customers, but somehow it’s a grumpy, little foreigner that ends up becoming his 24/7 patron. Not that he minds, until he does by having his cup ready even before the door bell rings.
