~ A Dark Fantasy Tale ~

They whispered her name like a curse: Seraphine Blackthorn. In the shadowed valleys of Hollow Veil, where the mist never lifted and the trees bled sap as dark as pitch, the witch walked alone, her boots leaving no sound, her presence silencing even the crows.

Clad in midnight leathers and armoured silk, she wore the beaked mask of a plague doctor not as a relic of healing, but a warning. Long ago, she had once been a healer. A white-cloaked apprentice of the old alchemist orders. Now, she wielded magic laced with venom and shadows, the twisted remnants of her past.

The world had changed. Or perhaps she had.
