”Silence! I did not permit you to talk!” She slammed her hands on the table causing the tea to spill on her red dress. She knocked over her chair as she got up and nearly tripped on it. I sucked air in. How is this idiot the most graceful in the land. I got up properly, curtsied, and was on my way to exit when I looked over the table. She was never fit to be queen and never would be.
” Your majesty, I am no longer able to read your future because you knocked over your tea. I shall call a maid to help you.”
I shut the door slowly. Indeed the palace was glorious. It was tall enough that you could see the ocean in every window. The doors were lined with pure gold and everyone wore only the finest silk. Of course it was my idea but the queen got all the acknowledgment. I don’t know of anyone who agrees with me but the best part was the west bridge. It even made a clear divide between the rich and noble estates to the poor slaves.
