Ryan was the kind of boy everyone noticed. He was tall, had soft brown eyes, and the kind of smile that made people feel special. He played on the school football team, made good grades, and was always polite. People thought he had a perfect life. But Ryan was bored of perfect things. He wanted to meet someone real. One day, a new girl walked into class. Her name was Lina. She had the prettiest eyes Ryan had ever seen. Her hair was dark and shiny, and she had a peaceful smile. But something was different she walked slowly, with a cane in one hand. Her legs didn’t move like the other students'. Some students whispered, others stared. But Ryan kept looking for another reason something more. Lina sat alone at lunch. The other students didn’t know how to talk to her. But Ryan stood up, carried his tray, and sat across from her. “Hi, I’m Ryan,” he said. Lina smiled shyly. “I know,” she said. “Everyone knows you.” Ryan laughed. Her voice was gentle, but strong. “That doesn’t mean I know you,” he replied. They talked for the whole lunch. They talked about books, movies, and songs. Ryan learned that Lina loved to draw. She showed him a small sketchbook in her bag full of beautiful art. Her hands were steady, even if her legs weren’t. From that day on, they sat together every lunch. Ryan helped her carry her bag when the stairs were hard. He never stared at her cane. He only looked into her eyes. One afternoon, Lina asked him, “Why do you talk to me so much?” Ryan looked surprised. “Because you’re the most real person I’ve ever met,” he said. “You don’t try to be anyone else. And that’s beautiful.” Lina smiled. But in her heart, she wondered if someone like Ryan could ever really fall for someone like her.Your story here...
