Picture this-
Birds chirping, sunlight peeking through pink curtains. A quiet, unmoving corpse in bed.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
”What the..?” The previously unmoving corpse questioned, squinting her eyes at the unreasonably bright phone screen.
7:45am, the clock silently whispered, as if scared to incur her wrath.
Wait- WHAT?!!
The cozy, fluffy blanket flies across the room as the girl jumped off the bed with a yelp.
Her eyes widened as her limbs moved as fast as possible, body moving on muscle memory as she plucked out an unironed school uniform and a skirt tainted with the aftermath of DIY slime that had practically melted in her hand the day before.90Please respect copyright.PENANAEsyLDlMegY
A few seconds under the sink and BAM! She was ready in record time. Did she brush her teeth? No, but did that really matter?
Her sister opened her mouth to speak but Rana raised her finger and shook her head, slamming the door behind her.
Her vision blurred as she frantically ran to the bus stop, stopping only when the burning of her calves overwhelmed her.
The bus assistant gave her a patronizing look before her eyebrows raised as she gasped, “Where’s your bag?”
Panting, Rana shrugged and practically collapsed into her seat, closing her eyes in a desperate attempt to forget it all.
“Late again, are we?” Mr Connor quipped when she entered, crossing his arms to make himself look more intimidating than amused.
Rana fought the urge to roll her eyes, hands still on the handle of the classroom door, “It was the bus!”
“The usual excuse,” He dismissed, “Wait, where’s your bag?”
”Bro, you don’t understand what I just went through-“90Please respect copyright.PENANAlLqAacYYMu
