In France, on the southern edge of Paris, in the year of 1910, there was a young boy by the name of Poéte.
He had become partial to poetry and wordplay as he grew older and often carried a small, leather-bound notebook with his name crudely scratched into the cover.
When he had scraped a few extra franks together, he would, unlike other children who usually spent their extra currency on sweets and small toys, publish a few lines of poetry in the local newspaper.
His hair was messy, and the color of mahogany, with sharp cheekbones and copper-colored eyes.
His clothes hung loosely on his frame, but they were somewhat secure with the help of a leather belt and a maroon vest.
He was always told he had an active imagination… but no-one was prepared for when it locked him inside his own mind… and threw away the key.
