Write a piece of writing that is inspired by the following: 

'You fall in love with someone but you could not tell them, for a period of some years, as every time you tried to tell them the words just would not come partly out of being scared half to death that they might not love you back and partly because they have been with someone else since before you met them. 

One Christmas, you somehow manage to get them alone with you under some miseltoe and you give them a kiss which gives you a brief but sweet taste of the one who you have spent so much time yearing to be in a romantic relationship with yet without having been able to confess your feelings for them. All, this begins to make you wonder if you will ever have the love of the one you love so very much.'

This can be written in first person or second person or third person.

The judging of this contest has been set to like count and will last twelve weeks from Monday 21st October 2019.
